Georges Jouve (French, 1910-1964) circa 1950s gun metal black ceramic bowl. Basically circular but beautifully asymmetrical with offset centering and a gentle slope. The base carries both an incised signature Jouve and his distinctive cipher mark (also ink stamped France).

Desimone for Vietri (Italy) fish bowl. Unusual shape with very vibrant glaze colors. Fully marked base (see photos).

Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg large sized Lion - with old paper label. Late addition to the 1964 AFRIKA series produced from 1970 onwards.

Lisa Larson 1975 limited edition Bison. Limited edition of only 2000 pieces designed in 1975 for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Base is stamped "Exclusively made for NK by Lisa Larson Sweden limited edition of 2000 for the benefit of WWF". It also carries the WWF and Gustavsberg logos on it's two front feet.

Nice little pitcher with red and yellow glaze pattern over white and exposed loping horse figures. Embossed base markings illegible - German?

Set of four walnut accented Capri series ceramic pieces designed by Michael Lax (1929-1999) for Raymor in 1955 – manufactured in porcelain by the Hyalin company (NC USA). This set contains two candlesticks (walnut bases), one deep bowl (tapered walnut handles) and one long dish (walnut bar handles).

Rare small vintage blue crazed majoleca glazed ceramic standing elephant (Stehender Elefant) with raised trunk. One of a series designed by Max Laeuger (or Läuger) (1864-1952) between 1923 and 1928 – this one believed to be designed in 1927 - and produced by Majolika-Manufaktur Karlsruhe company of Germany. Impression marked on three of its feet with Germany, the Karlsruhe company logo and numbered 3051 23.

Large Bulldog by Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg (Sweden). This is one of three pieces added to the 1956 Stora Zoo collection in 1959 (not the Bulldog from the 1972 Kennel series). This design was produced from 1960 to 1968.
