| 8 Niels Møller Rosewood Armchair chairs - (Item #1049) Set off eight gorgeously sculptural Danish rosewood dining armchair chairs. They are model #64 chairs designed by Niels Møller (1920-1982) in 1966 for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik (Denmark). All armchairs! Beautiful elegantly slim sculptured solid rosewood frames with high quality joinery (no screws) and upholstered seat pads. Without doubt one of Niels Møller most attractive and desirable designs. Particularly striking with the great rosewood color and grain. Very unusual to find eight armchairs usually you would expect two of them as part of a set of six accompanying four matching armless model 77 side chairs. | Knut Hesterberg "Propeller" coffee table - (Item #555) Knut Hesterberg "Propeller" coffee table, by Ronald Schmitt, Germany, model K 9009. Solid sculptural polished aluminum base supporting a thick 40-in diameter glass top. Retains an old paper label with style number and serial number boxes - but neither have been filled in. | Paul Evans Dining Set and Credenza - (Item #888) Super all original vintage late 60s dining set comprised of large glass topped dining table, four upholstered high back armchairs and a matching four-door credenza. All pieces are finished in Paul Evans’ richly textured “Goop” stucco – a metal powder loaded resin. A technique used by at least three companies local to his New Hope base (Directional – generally signed P.E and dated, Craft Associates – Pa, see our furniture archives and Lane of West Virginia) This set is by Lane. Dimensions: Table 72-ins long, 40-ins wide 29.5-ins high, Chairs 47-ins tall 26-ins wide; Credenza: 68-ins long by 26-ins high by 18-ins deep. An extension of Mies van der Rohe's MR cantilevered series chairs that he just never got round to designing. | Chrome Slat Bench / Table - DIA - (Item #756) Super high quality 80s chrome slat bench or coffee table. Purchased from the now defunct "Design Institute of America" by the interior decorator of the original owner. Legs are solid bar stock - all welded assembly. (D.I.A produced designs by Vladimir Kagan, John Mascheroni, Rick Berry and Michael Wold among others. Their plated finishes were produced by an acid dipping and electroplate process as opposed to the more common powder coating process.) | Hugo Troeds Teak Shelving Units - (Item #10) Two very well made vintage (mid 50's to early 60's) Swedish manufactured teak cabinets / shelving units. Designed by Hugo Troeds for Bra Bohag in Bjarnum Sweden. Pencil marked Domus on rear (Very unusual for us to find large Swedish pieces from this era compared to Danish). Super dark red teak (like their molded ply teak trays) and thick veneer over solid woods, with hardwood door runners (no plastics), light colored maple, beech or cherry interior to cabinets and black laminate board backs to shelf units (great for display purposes). Many adjustable shelves all mounted on novel wire runners. Dimensions: All pieces are 37.5-ins wide. Base units are 33-ins high by 16-ins deep. Shelf units are 30-ins high by 8.75-ins deep. (Overall height 63-ins)

| Danish Modern Rosewood Floating Desk - (Item #800) Danish Modern floating Rosewood Desk. Great rosewood veneers with solid legs and bull-nose surrounds to top - probably early 70s. Top supported on legs only over floating cabinet and draw compartments at front and book shelf across rear. Draws have great sculptural handles, solid wood sides and engineered board bases. Legs are solid - everything else is veneered on all sides in rosewood and teak. Beautiful rich grain patterns. | Danish Modern Folding Rope Chairs - (Item #714) Pair of Yugoslavian manufacturer Danish Modern styled folding chairs. Affordable alternative to the Hans Wegner's 1949 design for Johannes Hansen's Møbelsnedkeri on which they are clearly based. (Reintroduced in 1991 by PP Møbler as the PP-512 and available at just under $5000/chair). Comfortable but low and easily folded for convenient storage.
