Early second generation Eiffel tower base DKR (Dining chair BiKini Rod) wire chairs with full burlap backed orange vinyl bikini pads. No broken welds or rods. Originally designed in 1950 – this pair shortly after 1958 move to Venice California.

Signed and dated (1982) hand crafted Peter Danko bent ply rocker and ottoman. "In 1982, he formed Peter Danko & Associates and marketed his designs to architects and interior designers". He now has a more widely available line of eco-friendly furniture in production.

Set off eight gorgeously sculptural Danish rosewood dining armchair chairs. They are model #64 chairs designed by Niels Møller (1920-1982) in 1966 for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik (Denmark). All armchairs! Beautiful elegantly slim sculptured solid rosewood frames with high quality joinery (no screws) and upholstered seat pads. Without doubt one of Niels Møller most attractive and desirable designs. Particularly striking with the great rosewood color and grain. Very unusual to find eight armchairs usually you would expect two of them as part of a set of six accompanying four matching armless model 77 side chairs.

Very clean lined Danish modern made in Denmark rosewood chest of drawers. Contains eight large drawers with beatifully matched strong grain veneer fronts. The drawers are constructed of a solid light colored wood and run on wooden rails. Very sleak and six foot long, this piece could be used to fill many different types of roll in the bedroom to living or dining room.

Pair of Danish Modern styled Thayer Coggin solid well made walnut framed lounge armchairs with original orange fabric upholstery all in great condition. (Probably early Milo Baughman - the chair's overall proportions fill a perfect cube as do many of his later designs)

Wrought iron two person patio bench with John Risley modern styled his and her faces integrated into the back rest. Female face has earrings. Vintage piece with partial paint loss.

Joe Columbo 1968 designed (and signed) injection molded ABS black plastic "Boby" storage cart. This one in its tallest form with three modules and three swing out trays. On permanent display at Museum of Modern Art, NY. Manufactured in Italy

Vintage version of Warren Platner's iconic 1960s designed steel wire table for Knoll in dining table form and dimensions.

Knut Hesterberg "Propeller" coffee table, by Ronald Schmitt, Germany, model K 9009. Solid sculptural polished aluminum base supporting a thick 40-in diameter glass top. Retains an old paper label with style number and serial number boxes - but neither have been filled in.

Super all original vintage late 60s dining set comprised of large glass topped dining table, four upholstered high back armchairs and a matching four-door credenza. All pieces are finished in Paul Evans’ richly textured “Goop” stucco – a metal powder loaded resin. A technique used by at least three companies local to his New Hope base (Directional – generally signed P.E and dated, Craft Associates – Pa, see our furniture archives and Lane of West Virginia) This set is by Lane.

Early Eames fiberglass DAX shell armchair manufactured by the Zenith Plastics company (1950-1953) for Herman Miller with rope or chord edge. Zinc plated "X" base with earliest version of the insulated "domes of silence feet". Carries the checkerboard label stating "The shell is molded by the Zenith Plastics Co Gardena California".

Italian made chrome and tan colored leather rocking chair. An extension of Mies van der Rohe's MR cantilevered series chairs that he just never got round to designing. (Probably manufactured in the 1970s)

Super high quality 80s chrome slat bench or coffee table. Purchased from the now defunct "Design Institute of America" by the interior decorator of the original owner. Legs are solid bar stock - all welded assembly. (D.I.A produced designs by Vladimir Kagan, John Mascheroni, Rick Berry and Michael Wold among others. Their plated finishes were produced by an acid dipping and electroplate process as opposed to the more common powder coating process.)

Two very well made vintage (mid 50's to early 60's) Swedish manufactured teak cabinets / shelving units. Designed by Hugo Troeds for Bra Bohag in Bjarnum Sweden. Pencil marked Domus on rear (Very unusual for us to find large Swedish pieces from this era compared to Danish). Super dark red teak (like their molded ply teak trays) and thick veneer over solid woods, with hardwood door runners (no plastics), light colored maple, beech or cherry interior to cabinets and black laminate board backs to shelf units (great for display purposes). Many adjustable shelves all mounted on novel wire runners.

Danish Modern floating Rosewood Desk. Great rosewood veneers with solid legs and bull-nose surrounds to top - probably early 70s. Top supported on legs only over floating cabinet and draw compartments at front and book shelf across rear. Draws have great sculptural handles, solid wood sides and engineered board bases. Legs are solid - everything else is veneered on all sides in rosewood and teak. Beautiful rich grain patterns.

Super little solid Danish Modern teak tray table / cart. Triangular solid frame on (removable) castor wheels, supports two removable circular teak serving trays with constructed solid teak edges.

Pair of Yugoslavian manufacturer Danish Modern styled folding chairs. Affordable alternative to the Hans Wegner's 1949 design for Johannes Hansen's Møbelsnedkeri on which they are clearly based. (Reintroduced in 1991 by PP Møbler as the PP-512 and available at just under $5000/chair). Comfortable but low and easily folded for convenient storage.

Danish teak student desk featuring sliding two draw cabinet and a length extending drop leaf. Fabricated in a combination of solid teak and teak veneer over solid wood (no particle board). Based on Arne Vodder’s 1951 design and probably manufactured in the 1960s. (Local pick-up or arrange own shipping only)
