Eames - DAX Zenith Rope Edge Shell Chair - (Item #576)
Early Eames fiberglass DAX shell armchair manufactured by the Zenith Plastics company (1950-1953) for Herman Miller with rope or chord edge. Zinc plated "X" base with earliest version of the insulated "domes of silence feet". Carries the checkerboard label stating "The shell is molded by the Zenith Plastics Co Gardena California".
Dimensions: 31-ins high by 24.5-ins wide
Condition: Totally original condition and clean (some bleed through from shock mounts as typical on lighter colored moldings) - with no chips cracks or damage. Retains all feet and full label. Shock mounts in great condition.
