Toshiko Takaezu studio art pottery rattle vase - (Item #1143)
Toshiko Takaezu super cantelope sized "rattle" vase from her "Makaha Blue" series. Glaze treatment is very abstract with splashes of green, brown, light, medium and electric blues. Signed on the bottom with the artist's cipher.
Dimensions: 6-ins tall by 5.5-ins across at it's widest point
Condition: Excellent damage free condition, No repairs. Has interior "rattle" created by the artist by wrapping a piece of clay in newspaper & dropping it in before closing in the form.
