Abstract ceramic bird sculpture on solid wooden base. Labeled Monny Nitchie - Baltimore. Barbara (Monny) Nitchie, a grand daughter of Gustav Stickley lived in Baltimore (Towson, Ruxton and Guilford) with her family between 1956 and 1966 making pots and sculpture at the Baltimore Potters Guild. She was quite active in this period selling at the Potters Guild, craft fairs and Baltimore area museum shops. (Ref: Barbara - daughter)
