Unusual vintage cast metal box with two thin cork lined compartments and teak veneer inlaid strips on the lid. Probably a cigarette box? At 4-lbs in weight it feels too heavy to be aluminum and is more likely stainless steel. It is unsigned and we can't find anything else like it.

Early rare Jens Quistgaard design for Dansk a tall cast iron candlestick holder with seven adjustable candle arms. Each of the seven candle holders can be rotated about the central pole, which can be screwed in to tighten them in place. Each candle arm separated with a brass bushing. Vintage five piece made in Japan heavy plastic salad bowl set. Each two-tone spherical bowl with slanted top is formed from two parts of black plastic with either orange red or yellow coatings. This was absolutely one of the coolest set we had ever seen – unfortunately we chipped a small piece off the inside of the back of the server bowl while unscrewing it for cleaning (damage shown in photos)

Rare set of six Nagel (W. Germany) stacking chrome plated metal and red plastic candlesticks. The base of each candle stick is embossed wwith an R and carries it's original Nagel paper sticer.

Early Nambe design (529) domed aluminum candlesticks. Older piece marked Nambe 529 slightly later piece just marked Nambe.

Pair of one of the many forms of Nagel (Germany) candlesticks or Nagel like candlesticks. Each piece can either hold three candles or be stacked on the other.

Picquot Ware (England) TB and JB tea and water jug/coffee pots designed in 1948 and 1949 respectively. Made of a highly polished aluminum magnesium alloy (one piece castings - machine finished) with wooden handles. These probably manufactured after 1960. (Manufacture of this range just re-started at the end 2005).

Late 60s early 70s "Stowaway" designer series phone in an Oiled Walnut box, that would go well with Danish Modern interiors. This one with desirable push buttons rather than rotary dialer. Phone is fully functional (metal bell ring), hand set is on a retractable chord.

Vintage copper bowl by Francisco/Frank Rebajes' well known, primarily for jewelry, Rebajes company (New York 1932-1960). Base is fully marked with the Rebajes name and sideways "8" logo. This bowl is formed from eight blackened petals stemming from the hand beaten base.

Pair of bronze candlesticks by Richard Rohac Vienna. Stamped RR Vienna. Richard Rohac had worked for Hagenauer - some of his designs appearing with the Hagenauer wHw mark and later under his own company's name. The RR marked Vienna bronzes are often incorrectly attributed to Rena Rosenthal (especially within the US). It is not possible to stamp the bronze through the black-patina post manufacture without damaging it and according to Karl Hagenauer they never placed the RR mark on their pieces.
