Ben Siebel design for Jenfredware cast metal box with two thin cork lined compartments and teak veneer inlaid strips on the lid. At 4-lbs in weight it feels too heavy to be aluminum and is more likely stainless steel.

Very nice vintage and practical large 4-piece 10-lbs 5.5-oz cast iron fondue set designed by Bertil Vallien (1938- Sweden) for Dansk Designs (Denmark). This is probably one of the most stable designs we have seen with the pan resting securely in the heavy base that has an integrated burner holder for sterno candle or similar and features an air damping controller/regulator. The pan has a white enameled interior, holds over 3 US pints (2 US pints probably good for fondue) and has a matching cast-iron lid. Bertil Vallien is best known for his Kosta Boda glass designs and his best known piece for Dansk is probably the silver plated spiral candle stick. Pan and base are both marked "Dansk Designs Denmark BV"

Very unusual machine-age style brass candlesticks. Originally sold by Bloomingdales - we think in 1976 (from the base tags). Surprisingly we could find no other examples to identify designer or manufacturer. They look like they could be polished to what was probably the original high brass finish but we love the 40 plus years of patina. Takes 7/8-in diameter candles.

Possibly the most popular of Jens Quistgaard (IHQ) for Dansk (Denmark) teak combination saltshaker peppermill. This one made in Thailand but has metal grinder.

Early very rare Jens Quistgaard design for Dansk tall elegant cast iron candlestick pair. Each is formed from 4 separate cast iron pieces that are screwed together separated by brass bushings. Bases are stamped "Dansk Designs I.H.Q. Denmark"

Largest size 6-quart vintage (made in France) yellow Dansk Kobenstyle Casserole. The Kobenstyle enameld cast iron series was originally designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1956.

Large 1970s vintage MOD white plastic made in the USA Seth Thomas pedestal alarm clock unused in original box (new old stock). The second hand is a silent sweep and alarm is a buzzer that can be disabled. Runs on 110-V mains power.
