Nicely sculpted from a single piece of solid teak mermaid on a rock sculpture. (Modeled on the "little mermaid" in Copenhagen harbor). Very nicely finished with strong grain. The base is marked Arne Basse who's signed pieces of work seem to all date from the mid 1960s to early 1970s

Early Jim Lewk (Florida based artist) metal sculpture signed and dated 1979. Welded copper on a marble base. This is a fairly large piece of incredible detail that appears to be a one-off or commissioned piece rather than part of a limited edition. The dentist has fine wire in his mustache and sideburns. There is a total of 22 dental instruments on trays and in his pocket. The basin has pluming for inlet and drainage. Even the drill's foot pedal contains a tiny concertinaed bellow. Amazing piece!

Abstract ceramic bird sculpture on solid wooden base. Labeled Monny Nitchie - Baltimore. Barbara (Monny) Nitchie, a grand daughter of Gustav Stickley lived in Baltimore (Towson, Ruxton and Guilford) with her family between 1956 and 1966 making pots and sculpture at the Baltimore Potters Guild. She was quite active in this period selling at the Potters Guild, craft fairs and Baltimore area museum shops. (Ref: Barbara - daughter)

A 1970s Owl hand colored print or painting signed by Layton (Margaret Layton), Marketed as a Turner Wall Accessory by the Turner Manufacturing Company. The exposed part of picture is 9.5-ins by 12.5-ins substantially matted into a 16-in by 20-ins metal frame.

Very nice unsigned vintage abstract potted plant oil on canvas painting. Based on the dark colored rear canvas we would guess 50s or 60s. This was a long time display piece in a framing shop - and it wasn't there to show off it's frame which is a simple wood affair. Various textures from palette knife and brushes.

Large and very "brutal" welded bronze floor sculpture. A leaning tower of welded patinated thick bronze ribbons on a triangular base. (Unsigned - vintage. Attributed to Flemmington Iron Works, Flemmington, NJ Ref: Paul).

Original signed very detailed piece of art work by Don Nedobeck (Children's author and illustrator). Stylized sleepy owl very like some of the cat characters that he is most famous for.

Subject appears to be Viking War Ships at sunset - pretty Danish!

Vintage female torso layered puzzle sculpture (we think Italian). Featuring 55 individual layers that look to be chrome plated that can be rotated on a central metal post that fixes them to a solid marble base. Signed on top of the bottom layer and marked EVA on the top of the top layer.

Luzon mid century oil on canvas with abstract figures and horses. Very decorative with rich colors in high relief. Artist signed. LUZON was born in San Francisco and studied art in Los Angeles under Ernest Cohen. These paintings of his from the 1960s were inspired by his fascination for archeology.

Beautifully made welded rod art sculpture. Sunburst pattern with circles built into the radial rods. Basically formed on two planes with large amounts of brass brazing near the center.

Hand knotted wall hanging rug with an abstract Rya styled pattern in orange, black, brown, gray and cream. (1960s/1970s). Backing is rolled at ends to accept a thin hanging rod (didn't have one thin enough for the photos so it looks a bit bunched at one end but all the corners are in fact square)

The bus stop sign appears British in shape but there is a Koala bear in the tree - Australian perhaps?
